in which we go off to Roosevelt Island for (free) bike riding lessons with Bike New York

bike1

I decided to do some things that I haven’t had time to do, and one of them was re-learning how to ride a bike. I haven’t been balanced on two wheels since I was 12 years old, and that wasn’t exactly a banner day anyway. I searched ‘free bike lessons’ and tada! It appeared.

That’s the wonder of New York.

bike2

After a harum scarum search for available spots (as you can assume, the classes fill up fast) I was able to snag a lesson on Roosevelt Island with the Bike New York gang. They actually have helmets for everyone, so if you don’t have one and are not even sure how to buy one, you can feel safe showing up without one.

bike3

I figured it was best to keep it simple, so I wore my h&m basics $5 tee shirt and LL Bean True Shape denim jeans ($59) with my Southern Tide classic leather shackle belt ($65). I had my Samsung GearFit ($99.99) so that I could finally try the cycling exercise setting, and my Brazilian Begonia Lisa Hoffman fragrance bracelet ($65) for luck. I didn’t bother with makeup, just H20 Plus marine Defense Green Tea Antioxidant Lotion SPF 30 ($42) and some lip balm.

I think the green helmet was tres chic, don’t you?

bike4

Bike New York volunteers lined us up in size order and we were fitted to our bikes. The main thing being that your feet are flat on the ground when you’re astride it. Luckily I had this water bottle from a fashion event last year, so I was prepared for an afternoon of riding. I also had some granola and homemade banana nut bread tucked away in my knapsack, since they advise that you bring snacks.

bike5

When you start, Bike New York has you learn on a bike with no pedals. You spend about an hour learning to balance. It’s actually huge fun. Once you’ve demonstrated an ability not to kill yourself, you get the pedals- a major moment. When I got mine, I felt like a BMX racer.

When I was a kid, I was always fearful of a. getting my bike stolen (which did happen) or b. falling off/getting into an accident. The most dangerous part of doing this 2 hour class was looking out for other students sudden stops. The volunteers are there to guide and help and it’s a really friendly process. You do end up super hungry and thirsty though, so when they say bring snacks? Bring your snacks.

I was so glad I went! It was exhilarating to realize that I now held the power to fly around New York without being bound by subway snarls. well, as soon as I learn how to ride in traffic.

bike6

If you want to sign up, here are the classes that they have available:

1. Learn to Ride (Adults) : you learn how to balance and brake, and then hopefully how to pedal.

2. Bicycling Basics: core cycling skills, like how to adjust your helmet and seat, how to make sure your bike is road ready, etc.

3. Street Skills Ride: they teach you how to stay safe while riding crazy NY streets, albeit in a no-traffic environment. *actually? you would be in street traffic. my bad- Bike NYC contacted me about that. see comments below -FB 8/6/15*

They have even more classes and events, so if you’re in New York and looking for bike lessons or looking to volunteer, you should contact them. All the info you need is at www.bike.nyc.

Lucky Community styling post featuring animal prints for ss2015 (rawr!)

So the prompt for Lucky Community came and it was all about animal print, since that is the new neutral (that’s what they said).  I ran in the closet and the delivery pile and started styling…

Outfit 1:

1 1a 1b

I figured I’d start with a casual outfit, perfect for school or work. This is pretty easy to pull off and the white pant is comfortable and a great piece to mix patterns around. This outfit has checks, stripes, and print- but you really don’t feel it…
Outfit 2:
2
This look was inspired by all the festival style tweets I was seeing last week. I loved mixing the colors, but also how easy this is- jump out of bed, grab pieces, dress, leave- done. Those boots are super comfortable by the way, and cut to conform to the shape of your foot.
calvin klein shortsleeve animal print sweater
ann taylor a-line skirt with slit pockets
Outfit 3:

This may be my fave because of the humour involved. Very proper lady wears gold oxfords and a bucket hat!!! This is also the most personal look, since most of it is thrifted. It’s my smartass punk dowager look resurfacing, lol!
green bucket hat, $7 on Fulton Street in Brooklyn
vintage leopardskin cardigan (Monk Thrift Store, NY)
harve benard white cotton shortsleeved blouse (thrift)
black silk pleated skirt (thrift)
marc jacobs daisy solid perfume pin/pendant (limited edition)
lisa hoffman link bracelet with fragrance pendant (limited edition)
Next up: recap of Mar/April because I miss talking about nothing

NYFW Clothing Diary- what I wore in the freezing cold to go to the last MBFW at Lincoln Center

The only thing worse than going to Fashion Week in the dead of winter is not being invited to go to Fashion Week in the dead of winter. It’s the best time to see your friends, catch up on favorite brands, peoplewatch and shoot streetsyle, and try to make professional connections. If you’re not invited to anything, you may as well pull down your blog and go get a job.

Let’s get on with it…

Day One:

nyfwlooks1

the moment of truth arrived and I had not lost the weight that I wanted so my choices were limited. I decided to go with nerdchic layers mixing thrift store pieces with brand presents. The scarf and skirt are from last winter, and the tights are from Jack’s 99 World (.99). I layered on a Citizen Ciao Victoria Bay tshirt ($38) and my fave red Kensie Clothing high-low cardigan and then my LL Bean Freeport field jacket ($59). Finished off a dark grey wool beanie, a long stripey scarf around my neck and these Irenea Cat Footwear booties ($120) on my feet. The black and white bag is the Speedy from Kensie ($87.95).

I did a neutral eye (Aveda Allspice and Golden Cypress petal essence eyeshadows), heavy black eyeliner (Makeup Forever ink liner with butterLONDON Wink eye pencil in Union Jack Black ) and Rimmel London Scandaleyes mascara. Tata Harper Voluminous lip & cheek tint in Very Naughty ($35) put apples in my cheeks, and I went with a red lip (Makeup Forever Aqualip pencil in C19, Stila Liquid Stay All Day liquid lipstick in Fiery, and Rozge lipgloss in Barcelona) because that felt right.

nyfwlooks2

Ran into Rhea Santos of Sew Stylish Rhea and Glasgow (Dynel) Skinner of My Life On and Off the Guest List. So much fun! I ended up sitting near Glasgow at the Desigual show, which never happens.

nyfwlooks3

The Desigual ‘World of Creativity’ show was electric. I can’t wait to get that written up. In the audience were Katie Holmes, Drake, and model Adriana Lima. On the runway was Behati Prinsloo and Desigual brand ambassador Chantelle Winnie.

nyfwlooks3a

After the show we ambled over the Tide Fashion Closet where stylist Jennifer Eve Eisner (photo 1) was on hand to tell everyone about clothing maintenance and closet organization. I trust her. She had on real Valentino Garavani studded ballet slippers in neon green and said she wore them with everything (see them in photo 2).

They gave away cups of Blue Print Cleanse juice and bags of Tide Detergent pods. It was one of the most popular places to sit since they had this great white leather furniture and a charging station. I met Lorna Solana of The Fabulous Report, and Angela of The Little Black SuitcaseSarah Jessica Parker walked by, as did Bethann Hardison and Lynn Yaeger. That Tide corner was the hotspot. meanwhile we were all just sitting there drinking free juice and laughing at She Has Had It.

Day Two:

nyfwlooks4

I had to get to a show at 10 am, but I thought it was a presentation. I woke up late, almost didn’t leave the house, then finally got dressed and ran out. Forgot my hat, hair actually froze. Forgot gloves, not enough layers. Hated my makeup.

Sufferation.

Then I missed the show. Technically this outfit doesn’t exist. BUT check out my full length selfi thanks to my voice activated Samsung Galaxy S5 Active cameraphone! Did you guys notice? So now, as long as I remember to get it done, I’ll be doing full length selfies.

Day Three:

nyfwlooks5

Ok, THIS time I was going to make my show. Woke up early, showered, ate cracked bulgur wheat and everything. I wore my grey velvet coat that I bought in a thrift store in 2010, and the SUPRA Footwear Cuttler sneakers ($75) from the day before. A white button down shirt showed under a v-necked woven sweater from Kensie Clothing, both haphazardly tucked into a pair of LL Bean Trueshape Denim slimfit jeans ($59). I added a red jade Lisa Hoffman Beauty tunisian neroli fragrance bracelet ($65) to pick up the red in my sweater and lips. I brushed  Probelle Beauty Richness on my nails, accenting with Feeling Sexy (red, again). I gave myself a retro smokey eye with my Kevyn Aucoin ($42) and then just ran out the door.

nyfwlooks6

I managed to make it to Son Jung Wan, but I ended up not having a seat. That turned out to be a good thing because I was able to see the whole runway. the show was colorful, full of fur and sparkles. That’s also going to be reviewed here soon. Kelly Rutherford, Kelly Bensimmon, and Gene Simmons’ kids Nick and Sophie were also in the audience.

20150214_171124-1

It snowed on the way home.

Day Five:

nyfwlooks8

I didn’t have any Sunday events, so we jump ahead a  day to Monday the 16th. It was just a blogger lounge where brands want to meet ‘influencers’ so I wasn’t going to dress up. I grabbed my LL Bean tumbled leather Lounger boots ($249) which are super warm and go so well with my favorite crazy socks from Jacks 99 World (.99). I wore a great, drapey, soft Eric + Lani tshirt over a sweatshirt and under a rabbit fur jacket from the thrift storea nd my l bean jacket. Those sweat pants were $16 at Rainbow last summer. The bag is a faux snakeskin hobo from Kensie ($87.95)

nyfwlooks9

My favorite discovery at TechStyle Lounge was this UME Drive bracelet (4 for $100), and my second favorite was this Selfie Stage from Stylinity ($19.99 and it has a suction cup on the back!)  for hands-free selfies.

20150216_194234

Stopped by Key Food and bought provisions. I was out of leeks. That is the last bread that I can eat until after Lent. I am so sad about that- but this was my last sandwich, so…

20150217_142458

It was so good. So, so , sooooooooooooooooooo good.

Sigh.

Day Five:

nyfwlooks91

Yeah, it was cold and I was tired. It was snowing, too. So I stayed home and made red bean soup and looked at all the loot that I’d managed to accrue. We’ll talk about that later.

Day Six:

Photographed loot, ate soup, posted NYFW Streetsyle to blog.

Day Seven:

I got invited to see Cinderella!!!! Just randomly. So I trooped back over to Lincoln center to hangout with him and two male models at the screening. Fate, karma, serendipity.

nyfwlooks92

I had to step it up a little- and for me that always mean breaking out the Escada jacket. I did a polka dot Eric + Lani longsleeved tshirt under a striped punk rock mohair sweater and bravely wore leggings (ok, I had two pairs of leggings on). I wore my LL Bean jacket under the Escada and my Cat Footwear Irenea boots.I wore my fave brass snake bracelet, Lia Sophia earrings, and this Brazilian Begonia bracelet ($75)

Bag of the day was this peachy pink number from Kensie Clothing which has a fun separate zippered compartment in the front to keep things like your Lucky magazine from getting all crumpled. The color of this bag matches the color of the Lucky logo on this month’s Lupita Nyon’go covered issue, too. It also went perfectly with my Desigual scarf (everyone who attended the NYFW show got one).

Serendipitous.

nyfwlooks93

I wore my hot pink beanie and the scarf that Desigual gave everyone at the show (it’s so pretty!). The great thing about cold weather is that I feel comfortable putting on makeup. I did a fast makeover using Susan Posnick colorflo mineral makeup brushes and colorcorrect highlighting and concealing pencil. I used Aveda Aubergine and Golden Cypress petal essence eyeshadows, Makeup Forever Ink Liner ($23) and my bullet shaped Ellis Faas E401 mascara with a little Origins GinZing brightening mascara.

Same red lip, same red products: Tata Harper Voluminous lip & cheek tint in Very Naughty ($35) put apples in my cheeks, Makeup Forever Aqualip pencil in C19, Stila Liquid Stay All Day liquid lipstick in Fiery, and Rozge lipgloss in Barcelona). After years of feeling not qualified- I have hit my red lip stride.

nyfwlooks94

I adored Cinderella (review coming up later, don’t worry!). The costumes were heavenly. The sets were perfect, and if the script and acting weren’t great- let’s remember that this is for kids. I adored Cate Blanchet as Lady Tremaine the Wicked Stepmother. Her wardrobe alone is worth the ticket price. I loved how the whole story revolves around making the right shoe choice. The glass slipper on display in the lobby made me think of these adorable Ami Clubwear single sole tropical print pumps that it was too cold to wear.

Someday…

Next up: Desigual World of Creativity show review!

2014 in review: redesigns, parties, and standing next to Kelly Rutherford

So one time, six months ago, a pr lady told me that even though I had slaved over arranging, executing and promoting a photo shoot prominently featuring her clients products on prominent NY Fashion Bloggers- my numbers weren’t high enough for her clients to continue to work with me.

Ain’t that something? I had to take to my bed for two weeks from anger and disappointment.

After that, I decided to work on my ‘numbers’ and luckily, they got better. But I’m happier about the fact that people are enjoying my content than anything else. That pr lady can suck it.

Also? I had a lot of friends and worked with a ton of people who liked me more than my numbers. And I also got to stand next to Kelly Rutherford at the DKNY25 event, so…

Also, you may have noticed the the blog has a new look- that was an accident. I started messing around and then couldn’t  get it back to the way it was- so I just went ahead and committed to a new look for 2015.

So that was my year… I had fun. And oh yeah, the fricken numbers are up.

NUMBERS:

The WordPress.com stats helper monkeys prepared a 2014 annual report for this blog.

Here’s an excerpt:

The concert hall at the Sydney Opera House holds 2,700 people. This blog was viewed about 8,600 times in 2014. If it were a concert at Sydney Opera House, it would take about 3 sold-out performances for that many people to see it.

the august recap: baked goods, street vending, and a slow transformation towards fall fabulous

So… back to the hazy, crazy days of summer one last time. When we last reviewed all the little details of my life in July, I was out on the street selling cookies and baked goods.  As July turned into August, I started adding items to my menu that reflected the diverse nature of my neighborhood. Chocolate chip cookies and brownies were just the start- now I had to get into West Indian beverages and treats.

augrecap1

It started with the drink, sorrel. I drank this as a kid, since my family is Guyanese. I loved sorrel, and was always first in line with my cup out whener some was being poured. Unfortunately, i never bothered to learn how to make it.  Luckily, I found the ingredients that I needed at a fruit stand near my favorite supermarket, followed the instructions, and voila! I got the little 8 oz bottles at a restaurant supply store. My first batch of Lemon Ginger Sorrel was ready for sale (and absolutely delicious).

augrecap2

I modified my cookie process, but baking them in the mini-muffin pan. They actually keep pretty well, and are super tasty- but I want to work on that idea some more.

augrecap3

I made brownies- first I did it from a mix, and then went off and found out how to do it for real. I experimented with carrot cake muffins- the topping is dried cranberries and melted Hershey’s  cookies & cream white chocolate bars that i found near the register at the store. I did the topping because after grating and smashing and mixing everything together, I thought my carrot cake muffins looked weird. I ended up sacrificing four to make free bite sized samples and ended up selling the majority of them.

The last pic is the mythical sugar cake. People kept asking for them, so I found the recipe, got all the ingredients (seriously- half a bag of sugar!) and made them. Sol three. I am still dieting the rest of them off. So- no more sugar cakes. I can’t afford the extra poundage.

augrecap4

I also added a drink called mauby– which I have always hated- at customer demand. I don’t like it because it’s bitter. But, if you have sorrel, you’re supposed to have mauby so I did it. I still have 5 bottles in my freezer- because I refuse to drink them, but can’t stand to throw them away. I might give them to my brother.

augrecap5

This was me, chilling at the table, and I made all that stuff (except the water). My style and beauty game was seriously falling off though. I was working really hard, and not keeping up with the laundry and generally not being the self I’m supposed to be.

augrecap6

I had to get the laundry done, since I was just wearing thrift store dresses on the regular. Not the worst thing ever? But I was just doing it because it was easier that planning outfits (or doing the laundry). At the beginning of August I counted up my money and realized that I had enough money to do a tiny little bit of shopping.  I went through Nordstrom Rack, and some other places, but I didn’t want to splurge or get something that wasn’t going to fit with my style.

I ended up getting two cotton tshirts from H&M, and a sporty tshirt  and sweatpants with pockets from Rainbow Shops. No major spending (I had to buy a new phone, so…) but it was just enough to revitalize what I had and get me back on track. Then my Grafton glasses came from Glasses.com and I was even happier. I was almost a brand new person. augrecap7

Then I got some beauty stuff sent over, so I was in heaven. I got a new ‘dermal repair cream’ called Sente, Tata Harper’s Resurfacing Mask , and hair products from Phyto Specific specifically formulated for my hair. I couldn’t wait to start pampering myself!

augrecap8

I jumped in the tub after putting in a morning working my table and gave myself a through going over. I already had my Signature Luxurious Body Wash and Milk & Honey Scrub from Red Door Spa Professional Products Body Renewal line, so the Phyto Specific hair products were the perfect addition to my routine.

augrecap9

The next day I wore another of my new purchases, a tie-dyed sundress that was $10, plus a straw hat that I found at the discount store. i also added this lovely gauze square since I gashed my leg shaving during my spa bath. It’s held on with that mini-ducktape that I got free from influenster that time.

augrecap91

So between the glasses, and my new stuff- I was feeling kinda stylish! I liked this look- a little chambray, the sweatpants were super comfortable, and I had my Cat Footwear weavement sandals and Lisa Hoffman Beauty fragrance bracelet. Chillin. Just sellin’ cookies and chillin’. My skin is clearer and softer, too. It made a big difference in my mood, and I looked less tired since my skin was absolutely glowing from using the Tata Harper Resurfacing Mask and moisturizing with the Sente dermal repair cream.  augrecap92

augrecap93

This was the cutest outfit- i shopped my closet for this skirt from Ann Taylor Loft. The striped tshirt gave it a whole new freshness. It was a little rainy that day, so I threw on a Nautica jacket and put my Vinrella wine bottle umbrella in my bag. This is a few days after starting to use the Phyto Specific Rich Hydration Shampoo and the Hydration Styling Cream.

augrecap94

Things were going pretty good, but then they got even better- yes…Red Door Spa Professional Products sent over another box of goodies from the Body Renewal and Intensive Skin care Solutions lines!  So now, in addition to what I already had I got the Olive Oil & Salt Scrub, The Calming & Restoring skincare line, and another tube of the Olive Oil & Mint Cooling Gel. Jackpot!

augrecap95I also added this cute green bucket hat that I got at a little hole in the wall accessories shop on Fulton Street in Brooklyn. It had the right amount of sass. Here I do my fave chambray shirt with the striped tshirt and blue leggings. So easy. But I think I looked a little better here than at the start of the month.

augrecap96

This is the pretty magnolia tree one earlymorning. I just like that shot. so here you go. I also loved this easy summer outfit of floral trousers and a Bobi Los Angeles tshirt.

As you can see, I was in seventh heaven for the rest of the summer. I felt way more attractive (in spite of my steadily expanding waistline) and empowered because I used my own money to start the process of making myself feel better. Beauty products aren’t just for outer beauty. It’s the time spent doing things for yourself that is the real payoff.

I also did the laundry.

Next time? I’ll tell you what I got from Life is good, LL Bean, and Shop Jacqueline Rose Jewelry!

1st weeks of July: the phone emergency, return to ordinary life, deliveries and prizes

The first week of July roared in and my lifted downshifted from the frenzy of the month before. However? there was a massive problem…

1stwkjuly1

My phone drowned in ice cream. Yes. I was bringing home stuff from the Caravan Stylist Studio event, and I had thrown two small tubs of ice cream that melted in my bag- planning to dispose of them on the way to the subway. Why? because the garbage cans at the studio were too small!

Anyway, I put everything in that LL Bean Everyday tote and forgot because I was talking to someone. I rode all the way home not thinking about it, thinking my phone and my camera were safely in my ParMana Designs bag. Got home, unpacked my tote, and then…found the drowned tech corpses. I’m still saddened and shocked by the whole thing. From living it up to completely DONE in one train ride.

1stwkjuly2

I actually did a blog post using pics from my Asus netbook! The camera is super janky and the res is so low, that’s almost worthless- but I had a job to do so whatever. Do or die, right? I actually like this selfie. I was trying to show off my Sinful Colors nailpolish in Sage Rose (which I got free from influenster.com in my SurfsUpVoxBox).

1stwkjuly3

This is the stuff that I had on deck to mess with the first week of July. There was my haul from Caravan, featuring MD Complete non-irritating pro peel and anti-aging eye wrinkle remover, plus two kinds of Fake Bake self-tanner. Then I got samples of youthglow and thirsty mud from Glam Glow Mud, Dove Oxygen Moisture shampoo and moisturizer from Pinch Me Box.

1stwkjuly4

Then out of the blue, with no effort on my part- I got an email offering me something. I THOUGHT I was just getting some free frames or something. Turns out that Glasses.com had just come up with their first exclusive collection called Kensington Road and they picked me to write about it! I thought that was cute, so I said yes. Next thing I new I got this huge package containing a box of tea from Harrods! I was like……huh? and  packet of chocolate covered digestive biscuits from McVities. um…what the what?

As I drank some Assam tea and munched the wickedly good biscuits, I read the press packet looking for clues. Well, the Kensington Road collection (which debuted on June 30th) was inspired by classic English frame styles. They actually sent a coupon for a free pair of glasses! Since I’m blind as a bat this was like manna dropping from heaven. We’ll talk more on this later.

1stwkjuly5

I was still moping about my phone and camera- but then I remembered that I had an old LG Romour phone hidden away somewhere, so that solved my imaging needs for awhile. I used it to photograph these cute Lisa Hoffman fragrance bracelets that a nice pr lady sent me. So cute! they sent a green jade bracelet with silver beads and a red jade bracelet with gold tone beads and 14k gold plated scent charm.

The charm holds the scent beads. The red came with Tunisian Neroli (a sort of spicy scent) and the green bracelet had French Clary Sage beads to put in it’s filigree sterling silver charm. I love them. They retail for $65, and I love the face that people with sensitive skin can wear scent safely because of the way that the fragrance is delivered. Really great gift.

1stwkjuly5a

1stwkjuly5b

I started on my (still upcoming) skincare/beauty roundup and got some more products delivered. I got a follow up package from Glo Science containing GLO antioxidant whitening toothpaste, GLO solo teeth whitening vials, and the Everday GLO teeth whitening maintenance pen. After you use the GLO Brilliant Teeth Whitening Device (you can read my review here) you still need to maintain your whitening results.

1stwkjuly6a

After all that rushing around, I realized that I had absolutely nothing to wear and I desperately needed to do the laundry. I had to overdress a little, but this pleated a-line spaghetti strapped sundress was $10 and it’s two years old. I wore my Lisa Hoffman fragrance bracelet in French Clary Sage, which is a fresh herbal fragrance. You can actually smell it as the bead filled charm warms up.

1stwkjuly6b

I got to use my Life is good Dockside Anchor Beach  tote for the first time. I mean it was just hauling laundry, but I did it stylishly and with optimism. As soon as I could I changed into a LOFT sweatehirt and my Cory Vines yoga pants and Catfootwear weavement sandals. Why? because I had to go grocery shopping…

1stwkjuly6c

This is all I had in the fridge. Some oranges, perfume, and my makeup case. Also nail polish.

1stwkjuly6d

I turned to that Everyday Tote again (I prefer to bring a bag and save a little tiny piece of the planet when shopping) and managed to get about $60 worth of stuff in it- including this lovely asparagus. Yes, that is King Arthur bread flour behind the asparagus. I bake a mean loaf and some pretty nice biscuits and crackers with that stuff!

1stwkjuly6e

I resolved to try and exercise with this Denise Austin book on Pilates. In case you can’t see the quote it says: ‘Never understimate your power to change and improve. You are a good person with wonderful qualities and you can reach your goals.’ How cool is that?

1stwkjuly6f

I made myself some food- this is the Meat, Egg, and Cheese Pancake that I created out of greed and ravenous hunger. It was good as hell. I also made my first cinnamon buns! They were absolutely delicious. I sold them at my Chubby Chubs table the next day to get them out of the house. I LOVE that I know how to make cinnamon buns. I feel like I really accomplished something. Here’s the recipe I use, from Domino Sugar

1stwkjuly7

I also managed to mail out some prize packages that had been sitting around the house. The prize packages from the Sniffapalooza/The Makeup Show blog giveaways and the twitter Life is good aw2014 NYC debut/First Anniversary giveaways. yes- I was that backed up.

1stwkjuly7a

Three year twitter follower Sean Salo (aka @Ebbhead) got the Life is good package which also featured some Chubby Chubs homemade 3 sugar caramel popcorn. yay, Sean!

tumblr_n8tuzjkamv1qi72kdo1_400

Lorie DelMundo got the First Anniversary/Life is Good/Influenster prize (female version) featuring Fake Bake, Zoya Carmen nail polish, and Sexy Hair Powder Play and Nikki Polous sexy retro 70s style silky strapless jumpsuit from Caravan Stylist Studio plus Hawaiian Tropic Silk Hydration After Sun Lotion and Not Your Mother’s Beach Babe Texturizing Shampoo and Conditioner from Influenster (came in that SurfsUpVoxBox free). She can carry all of it in her peachy Flower Dockside tote from Life is good.Yay for Lorie!

1stwkjuly9

While all of this happiness was going on, I was trying to get AT&T to send me a new phone. After contacting them on twitter, I found an address on the website for their Device Support center. I was going to get a replacement phone if it killed me.

Until next time!

Faith/SEB (xox and all that)
